The Making Of...
This baby business is tricky. You have to have lots of patience and love for these babies (oh and brave willing to try anything parents) to make some awesome photos. Oh and of course sometimes it does require just a wee bit of Photoshop work to get the actual result I wanted. Im not a big preacher of "fixing" things later or making major adjustments in Photoshop as I prefer to get what I want in camera and just add a little finishing touch in Photoshop. But there are of course times when my "rules" are meant to be broken. I have been wanting to try this shot for some time and I had the perfect opportunity with the Richards' family. Little Teagan was being so wonderful for his session and his mommy and daddy LOVE me :) Or at least thats what I am saying! ha ha So they let me play! I wanted to show the series...so you can see how I got to the end. Here you go...
And the final pic in that series was still not quite what I was hoping for. I really wanted a horizontal shot but the "set" that I had for us didnt leave enough room. Plus I had mom and dad stay close to their little boy so no ouchies happened....this also cut into the room I had to use. So I just waved my PS wand and out came the shot I wanted:
Hope you enjoyed that! Thanks to the Richards' for letting me play! This was a blast to try.
