Vintage Shoot...
Every once in a while I like to have a session that is just for fun. Either with a friend or family member or just because I have a wild hair. I had some free time in Reno and had been itching to shoot in a vintage looking laundromat. I could see what I wanted in my head so the search was on to find the well...ugliest looking laudromat possible :) I also wanted a crazy outfit which was not as easy to find as I had hoped. First things first...Location. We actually found the location on the first try. We had a suggestion of where to look and the spot was perfect. Then on to find the outfit. My mom and I looked everywhere for a not too expensive outfit. After going just about everywhere we could think of we ended up at a Bridal Shop in Reno, Marchele's Bridal Boutique. We explained the shoot to wonderful Michele and she ran into the back and brought out the perfect dress. We ended up making the dress into a skirt but it still had the crazy look I was hoping for. Thanks for your help Michele! My model was my fabulous sister Destiny (you may have seen the shot I posted a few days back) who was brave enough to get down and dirty for the session. My mom assisted...and I could not have been more happy with the images we got. Both my mom and my sister embrace my crazy ideas and I am thankful that they were up for the session. Here are my favorites... Location:
And what the place looked like when we walked in...
