Little Aaron

I can only crack up when I see the first image I posted here. Aaron’s “Happy” shirt with the sad expression on his face is hilarious! How can you do anything but laugh?  It took Aaron just a few to warm up and then he was all smiles for me. I love the little naked butt shots we got of him with my fun Elf Hat. Thanks to Aaron for not umm…Peeing…on my background! Gotta LOVE it when I get lucky! Here are a couple of my favorites from his session.

Po-dunk Arizona

As some of you already know…I had a trip to Arizona this month that was a bit unexpected and frankly…Sucked! Sorry…but its true. But instead of focusing on the bad things my good friend Genny and I decided to make the best of it and have a bit of a photo hunt. As we made our way back into the valley from Globe, Arizona (I said Podunk didnt I?) we made a few stops in…Miami (I think? And no NOT Miami, Florida). It was a sad little town but full of potential photographs. Odd that we look for old broken down things to take photos of but hey…whatever works. My challenge for myself was “Old Doorways”. I shot a few other things as well. But that was my main goal. There were tons of old doors that were awesome. Every time we would spot something cool we would pull over (or make a uturn) and jump out excited to shoot. Its amazing the “high” you get when you are on a mission for photos. It certainly helped make the trip fun and something to remember. If you are a facebook friend you may have seen these but I wanted to make sure and post them (along with the story about them) on my blog for my loyal blog stalkers. I know its not portraits of people but its still fun and shows something else I have done! Enjoy!

Baby Mark

So Sweet! So Little! Loved Baby Mark!  He was just about two weeks old when he came in for his first official photo shoot.  He loved me more when I let him have his clothes on!  But I cant resist the simple naked baby black and white shots.  So we quickly got those out of the way and then we played.  Mark was a tough little guy and was insisting on holding his head up for me! I was impressed and very much appreciated his cooperation! ha ha.  Thanks to Baby Mark and his family for coming to see me!  Enjoy your sneak peek!

Christmas Card Share…

I have designed a ton of Christmas Cards this year but I wanted to share one of my favorites that I did.  It was wild and crazy and at first I wasnt 100% sure my clients would go for it…But I reminded myself that they had Polka Dots on their daughters wall so I figured I was probably safe!  The Allen’s saw the card and were as excited as I was!  I cant wait to hear how their friends and family LOVE IT!  Thanks to the Allen’s for letting me share your awesome card!

Christmas at BLISS!

This year we had our first ever Christmas Set! An idea that was given to me by a wonderful client (thanks Danielle!) we embraced the idea and pulled off a fabulous weekend.  It was Christmas Chaos and I loved every minute.  I hope we can make this an annual event for the 1st weekend in December!  Mark your Calendars…If you want “Bliss Christmas” photos!  I want to thank everyone who came in as well as my Bliss Helpers that were there for the weekend…Without all of you the weekend would not have been such a success. I wanted to share a few of the images I shot over the weekend so you can see what to expect for next year.  The “set” we designed turned out awesome and I cant wait to come up with something for next year. Our goal is to make the set more “Bliss”!  No cheesy Christmas allowed!  Here is some pics…

Little Arabella

Cracks me up! Yes…literally. Arabella was awesome! She had so many smiles and silly faces that I laughed pretty much the entire time I was editing her photos! I imagine there has to be lots of laughter in her house! As you can see from her photos…SO CUTE! Babies like this are what make my job such a blast! Okay…I was going to say make my job easy…But I was afraid of jinxing myself. I am silly…I know!  Thanks to Arabella and her mom for coming to see me! I had a great time!  Enjoy your sneak peek and I will see you again soon!
