Omar’s Senior Session…

We went up to Mt. Hood to take some of Omar’s senior photos. I knew going there I wanted to get a shot of him jumping!  Dan actually ended up shooting the jumping part while I took video.  I am jealous of course but Dan Rocked it out with this awesome collage he designed!

Eliana Mae

This first image I am posting is one of my absolute favorite shots of little Eliana’s session. Sleeping baby shots are always fun but I love the hat and chocolate colored warmth of the image. I am of course posting several favorites but I just wanted you to know how much I love the first image! Eliana was wonderful for her session. Her big blue eyes were awesome! I know I always say it…but I am a sucker for those blue eyes!  Thanks to Angela for bringing your daughter to see me! I enjoyed meeting you both (and grandma too!)  Here is your sneak peek!

Little Carson

This little lady makes you just want to snuggle her and love her to pieces!  Carson is so adorable.  After a quick cat nap she decided to be a perfect model for me.  I really loved her with all the hot pink. Thanks to Carson and her mom for coming to play at Bliss!  Enjoy your sneak peek!

Tanner Dimitry

Tanner was a little flirt. All full of smiles for me! I love the age where the personality of a baby is just spilling all over the place. Tanner was also making me crack up laughing. He has a very unique laugh. I know I am one to talk…I have a pretty crazy laugh myself but his laugh was Awesome!  I tried to get a video snipet of it but no such luck. He didnt want to “preform” on command. Cant say I blame the little guy there :) Here are a couple of my favorite images from his session.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope everyone is taking time today to be with family! Have an awesome day and eat lots of Turkey!

Check back tomorrow for more posts of beautiful babies!

Hugs,
Whitney

Allen Family

I loved working with the Allen family. First Peyton was too adorable and was perfect for me…Second they brought along their dog Booker who was just as perfect for me. Really. Baby + Dog were fantastic. When Tracey told me she was bringing in a boxer I admit I stereotyped the poor guy. Boxers are generally pretty hyper dogs so I figured we would do what we could and then put him in the car while we finished the session.  Booker however had better ideas. He decided he would be the most Angelic dog and pose just like he was supposed to! I dont think he wanted to go sit in the car. He was perfectly content on hanging out with the family.  So what could have been a crazy session with a baby and a dog was instead FABULOUS! Thanks to the Allen’s for coming to Bliss for your family session!  You guys rocked it for me! Here are a couple of my favorite images.

Chloe Mae

I love this little girl. Yes…Its true. This will be the 2nd or 3rd time I have taken her photos. Her blue eyes and beautiful blond hair just make her look so sweet and innocent. All she has to do is sit there and look at me and my heart melts. Chloe is almost two and is growing up way too fast! I say that but its still fun to see how the kids have grown up. I love the Christmas series of Chloe that will hopefully be incorporated into a fabulous Christmas Card. Her parents brought in the present as a prop which worked out perfectly. The sun decided to shine for us so we snagged a couple shots right outside the studio to break it up a bit.  It was chilly but I still wanted to take advantage of the sun. Peggy and Kent….Thanks for coming to see me again and for making the drive up from Eugene. I enjoyed seeing all of you as always! Enjoy your sneak peek and I will see you soon…

Eli James

The Wilding Family drove up from Roseburg to see me and I could not have been more excited to meet their newest addition.  Not too long ago Dan and I shot Heath and Kristina’s wedding. So of course its ALWAYS an honor to be able to meet and photograph the kids!  Eli was as adorable as his big brother Ethan. He even managed to pull out a few smiles for me. I love the sweet innocence of new babies. They are so much fun to watch and of course to photograph. Thanks to the whole family for making the drive to Portland to see me. Enjoy your sneak peek of my favorite images!

Little Nicholas

Nicholas did was so good for me during his session. He was staring at me with the most wonderful chocolate eyes and giving me big smiles. I used one of my Elf Hats for a couple but his mom brought an adorable hat that I couldnt resist.  Thanks to Nicholas and his mom, Petra, for coming to see me. Enjoy your sneak peek!

Little Katherine

Personality. Katherine was FULL of it and I loved every minute.  She had some awesome faces for me and I was instantly in love. We played around with my new elf hats but we had to trick her with ummm….”treats” so she would leave it on long enough for me to get a shot or two.  Yes it feels like we are feeding a dog “treats” when we do this…but hey we do whatever works right?  Plus it makes me laugh!  We took a few other shots without my silly hats because I couldnt resist those Blue Eyes!  Thanks to Jessica for bringing in your little girl. Here is your sneak peek of my favorite images.
