Brinton & Ashley’s Wedding

This is going to be a big Sneak Peek! I was going to split it into two parts, Details and Other Favorites…But instead I went ahead and made it one big post of shots I love. Brinton and Ashley were married last Saturday on what turned out to be a Beautiful Fall Day in Oregon. I will admit I was nervous as it was raining on Friday (and on Sunday) but Saturday pulled through a sunny perfect day. The wedding was held in Pleasant Hill at Ashley’s parents house.  The location was awesome and a great place for a wedding.  Thanks to my wonderful couple for letting us be a part of your day. Dan and I had a blast and hope you LOVE your sneak peek!

Holiday Special on Calendars!

Great Christmas Present for you or for a loved one! We have shown these “NEW” Calendars for Boudoir sessions but they can be ordered from ANY Session!  I am running a couple specials on these so please email me for more details. You can pick from 4 templates and they can be made from a past shoot or an upcoming session! They are 12×18 mounted on a board and will have a ribbon to use for hanging! We have samples in the studio if you want to see them up close! I am here if you have any questions.

McKemy Family

We took the McKemy family photos at the University of Nevada. It was a busy day at the University but we were able to find some great spots away from the crowds. We were even able to get some fall shots with beautiful colored leaves. You may recognize these girls from past sessions. This session the girls” Rocked it Out” for me! I think they are so used to me now…that it makes my job much easier and a blast! The girls were cracking me up with their posing! Hannah has started ballet so she has the perfect ballerina poses for me. So sweet and innocent! The black and white shot of the girls in the doorway is one of my favorites simply because there was music playing in the background and both girls started dancing! I was cracking up! Baldridge Family

I have photographed the Baldridge family a few times and they are always entertaining!  I mean this in a good way. The boys…make me work for it but once we get them to LOVE having their photo taken, its good. Ha! Little Bree is of course a perfect Angel and I would like to take her home with me so she can be my little model. Her dark hair and cute freckles make my day! And no matter how much the boys resist we always get some awesome shots of everyone. This time we were taking photos as a surprise Christmas Present for their Dad. We went for an Urban Session which I think fit them well. The boys even brought their football gear which I LOVED!  Next time…I hope to photograph Miss Bree as a little Urban Ballerina! Thanks to the whole family for letting me take photos once again! I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

Backus Family

I get the cutest clients! Really…how can I be so lucky? Little Jaxson and his family were so adorable. Jaxson was full of smiles a perfect model for me. These images were taken at one of my favorite spots in Reno, Caughlin Ranch. The trees werent quite as fall colored as I hoped but we found this awesome yellow tree that made a beautiful fall set for us. Board Family

I was in Reno the weekend before last and have several shoots to post so keep an eye out! The first of my sessions was the Board Family. We went to Gallena Creek Park for their session and went for a “small” hike. Next time I shoot there I need to remember to not wear my “cute” shoes!  The Board’s all wore flip flops that they could pop off for barefoot images. I however…wore boots with “heels”…oops.  The Boards were a beautiful family and a joy to photograph.  I look forward to seeing the girls for their senior photos in the near future! Brumfield Family

The Brumfield’s have a new addition to their family. Little Logan! Okay I realize he is not that new as he is  actually one years old but he was new to me!  The last time I photographed the family, Logan was still in his mommy’s tummy!   Little Claire has been on this blog before when she was one so you may recognize her. She has turned into quite the little lady! Both kids were so adorable and fun to photograph.  We took a few images in the studio and then headed outside. The weather was perfect for us and the little path by the studio was sprinkled in fall. I want to thank Molly and Yancy for coming to Portland to see me again! I enjoyed seeing you guys as always! Here are a couple of my favorite images from the session.
