Clint Kolseth

I am starting to work on my sessions from Reno so keep an eye out for all the sneak peaks. Clint was the first session of the weekend. Clint attends Reno High and is very excited about finally being in his senior year. I had a really great time working with Clint as we wondered around downtown Reno to get more of a funky, urban look.  Thanks Clint for giving me the opportunity to take your senior photos. I hope you enjoy your sneak peak!

Halloween is just about here. I still have a couple of FREE MINI Sessions available (Okay I think I have “Mini” on the brain…sorry about that).

UPDATE:

I am now the proud owner of my very first BRAND NEW CAR! I only had to wait 29 years….Well…I guess I wasnt able to drive for all of those years. I was so excited at the dealership….Just like a kid in a candy store. I asked our salesman “Dan” if I was the only crazy person and he said not even close. So I guess that is a good thing!  Mini’s are full of fun little gadgets. I had to have a lesson on how to start and turn off my car. It has the coolest key (its not even really a key).  My mini is sitting in my driveway and I can hardly believe it. For those of you just tuning in and think I am nuts….This is actually a pretty big deal. I have wanted a mini for just over three years and we were finally able to make it happen (thanks wonderful husband!). Here is just a couple quick photos from our day.  It of course is a beautiful fall day and made the experience that much better.

As we get to the garage to see our first peak…..A sign is posted on the windshield…

Woo hoo! That’s me….New Owner…Dont touch MY car! ha ha!

First LOOK:

Now give me my KEY! Dan and I after I have my new key in hand. Just a quick thanks to Dan at Rasmussen Mini who was WONDERFUL through this experience and put up with me!

There are only 9 miles on the car! ahhh! I was so nervous to drive it out of the garage!

Could the speedometer be any bigger?  I think its a hint…

AT LAST!!!!

Reno…

I spent the last couple days in Reno shooting.  Thought I would tease with this photo…What was I up to????

More soon…..ha ha!

Haley’s Senior Album

Just a peak into a new album I am working on.  I have been loving these new senior albums. Very fresh and fun. These albums have been a big hit with my seniors this year!  This is her photo cover and a couple of my favorite pages…Enjoy!

Alyxandra

Little Alyx is past due for her own post.  She came to visit me from San Diego awhile back. Isn’t she just adorable?  She was perfect for her session and was full of smiles and fun expressions. Alyx is another one of my “nieces”. Her mom, Genny, and I have been friends since middle school.  Thanks to her mom and dad for coming to see me!  See you guys again real soon!

My adorable “nieces”

Kylee & Avery came to visit me this weekend and we took a trip to the studio for some 6 month photos of Avery. The girls are so cute! I will post more soon but I just wanted to show off a couple of them. These are my favorites of each of them…

Little Carson

Isn’t he adorable?  I know I posted one of these images as a test a few posts ago but I wanted to give little Carson a proper post. Carson is just over a week old in these images. He did so good for his first photo shoot. The Schott family drove up from Springfield for their session. You may have seen Dawn’s maternity shots posted here a while back. We are working on a storybook album of the little guy so you will see more of him on the blog.  I of course love the shot of me with Carson :)  Any shots with “my kids” is wonderful (thanks Rick for taking it).  Thanks to the Schott’s for coming to see me. Enjoy your sneak peak!

Quote of the Day….

Made me smile :)

Thanks to Genny for sending me this today!

Gallino Family

This is the second time I have had the opportunity to shoot the Gallino kids…but the first time I got to take photos of the whole family.  We shot at the Portland Rose Garden which was beautiful this time of year. I had a great time chasing the kids around. Its in those moments that I get the best shots. I love the black and white shot of Jules comforting Rowen. He was crying in that shot and she was being the best big sister and giving him some love. No I did not scare Rowen and make him cry….It was just a bit past nap time.  We were lucky grandpa and grandma were along for the session as Grandpa was making not only the kids laugh but us as well.  Thanks to the Galllino’s for coming to see us! Enjoy your photos!
