My Bliss Girl

We shot a wedding yesterday (which I will post images later this week)….and my good friends Leslie, Jerrod and their daughter Demi attended. Demi, whom I tend to call my “Bliss Girl”, was so cute I had to pull her away for a couple of shots in the vineyard. You may reconize her from the opening slideshow of our children and family website. I have a few more of her I may post later this week as well but this one just looked so grown up and I couldnt resist making a quick post. Thanks Demi!

Matt & Krystle

As promised in a post below I wanted to post some more favorites from Matt and Krystle’s engagement session on Sunday. I of course had to put the blue wall shot in this post just in case those of you missed it below. We had a great time taking Matt & Krystle’s photos around downtown portland. Not too far from the studio we were able to find the fun blue wall. We will be making a gallery wrap of that shot to be displayed at their wedding next month. Thanks to Matt & Krystle! We are looking forward to the wedding…

7-7-07 Wedding

I know I am a little behind on my posts. I am working on getting caught up I promise! Here are a few of my favorite shots from the popular 7-7-07 wedding date. Dan and I traveled down to Lorane, Oregon (near Cottage Grove….my hometown!) and shot at Chateau Lorane. Keith and Stacy were very easy going and a joy to work with. The weather was beautiful and not too hot. The wedding felt like somewhat of a reunion for us as there were serveral couples there who’s weddings we shot last year. One couple of which is pregnant with their first child (congrats to Lindsey and Chris….maternity photos soon!) This wedding was coordinated by Connie at The Brides Corner (www.bridescorner.net). If you would like to see the rest of the wedding photos be sure to check our website under previews. Thanks to Keith and Stacy for letting us be a part of your special day!

Engagements

We shot Matt & Krystle’s engagements on Sunday evening. I havent had a chance to do the editing but after a quick peak at the images this one was one of my favorites. I will post more soon…but for now this will have to do.

Baby Adalynn

What a cutie! Baby Adalynn was born on July 5, 2007….to Brian & Becky whom you may have seen their wedding photos and their maternity photos on my website and blog. The new family came to the studio for Adalynn’s first photo shoot. I couldnt believe how much this little girl looked just like her daddy! I just loved Adalynn’s little lips. I realize she isnt too happy in the photo with the red stool but I still loved the way her little lips were wide open. I also loved her little cowgirl outfit! Here are my favorites….I will post the rest of the shoot on my website tomorrow if you want to peak at more. Thanks to the Krist family for bringing Adalynn to me! She is beautiful!

Another Cute Collage…

Here is another collage I made for the McKemy Family!

Show us some love! I am going to make a deadline of July 25 to give people time to take a photo and to of course read about the contest on the blog! Please email me your entry to info@blissstudio.net The free session is for a $75.00 portrait session (or if you have a larger session booked I will give you a $75.00 credit towards it). Good Luck Everyone! Looking forward to seeing the entries.

Kealoha Family

Here is some more shots from the Kealoha family photo shoot. We started off with a cousins shot. I love the old tree we had them all sitting on. If you want to see more shots I will have the entire session online by this Sunday. Thanks to the Kealoha’s for letting me photograph your family once again. I look forward to our sessions every year!

Nature

I shot the Kealoha family last week in Eugene. The family chose to shoot on their property where they are having a house built. It was a great little spot. While in the middle of the shoot a tiny little creature jumped across my bare foot. On a normal occasion this would have made me scream but I looked down and saw the cutest little frog. I snatched him up and shared him with the kids. I of course had to take some photos of the frog and while doing so we also found the caterpillars and the ladybug. It was a nice little adventure. I will post some “real” shots from this session but I wanted to share our little “friends” first.

Weselak Family

Dan and I shot the Weselak familly together in Portland a couple weeks ago. (I know a little behind on the blogging!). It was a beautiful sunny day and we found a nice little spot to take the family photos. The family brought along their VERY patient and well behaved dog along for the shoot. The kids, Matthew and Katie, were climbing all over the dog and he was so good. Thanks to the Weselak’s for letting us take photos of you guys….We had a great time and look forward to working with you guys more in the future…(Congrats are also in order as they are expecting their 3 child!) Here are my favorites including a Fine Art Collage I made for them.
