Baby Myles

I had to post this shot. I bought this stool just so I could shoot a newborn baby on it…I finally got my chance this morning when Debbie brought her newborn son Myles in for his first photo shoot. I will post more from this shoot in a couple of days….but here is a sneak peak :)

Cross Family

The final shoot of the day at the U of O was the Cross Family. The kids did great. Dad had a crazy idea of having the kids hang from a tree. We couldnt get them all the hang but I still love the result. Very fun! Thanks to the cross family!

Daniel Family

I shot this beautiful family at U of O a couple weekends ago. The kids did great for the shoot. Their mom brought bubbles along so we started with that to help relax the kids a bit. I did take color images of these kids so if you would like to see them check out their online gallery. I just love these black and whites and had to post them. Thanks to the Daniel’s for letting your kids model for me :)

Portland Zoo

We spent yesterday at the Portland Zoo with my best friend Jamie, her husband Dave and their adorable little girl Kylee who I claim as my “adopted niece”. She will be two August 1st. Little Kylee had a blast at the zoo. I think my favorite animal was the monkeys which I am posting several of. Mostly because they just seemed to pose so well for me. That and if you ask Kylee what a monkey says and she makes the sound…so cute! Its been ahwile since I have posted anything other than people shots so here we go….Hope you enjoy!

Petereson Family

What a great family! Dan and I spent last Saturday shooting the most beautiful families at U of O in Eugene. I think we ended up with a total of 13 kids that day. Whew! Everyone was so good though and made the shooting a piece of cake. The Peterson Family was our first at U of O. They even brought their cousins along for a shot for grandma (the two youngest boys in blue). Thanks to everyone for letting us take pics! Dan and I had a great time!

Little Mia

Mia was adopted from China a few months back. Her and her mom have bonded very quickly and it was very enjoyable for me to capture the love the two of them share. I was honored to be able to take photos of her! Thank you Lori and Mia for giving me this opprotunity….I look forward to working with you guys again real soon!

Whitten Family

This is the second time I have had the pleasure of taking photos of the Whitten’s. This time we went up to Lake Tahoe to the shoot. What a beautiful place to take photos! We went pretty early in the day and we had a beach all to ourselves. Tyler Whitten really wanted some photos of his family and their two dogs before they got too much bigger. The dogs did so good during the shoot. We were afraid they were going to want to take off to the water but they decided to model for me instead! Thanks to Tyler, Megan, Nathan and Sarah for letting me take your photos once again!

Potter’s

I shot the Potter Kids for the 2nd time my last trip to Reno. This time little Libby was the ham! She was a happy little camper and was great to take photos of. We focused mostly on the shots of Mitchell and Libby together and some of just Libby by herself. My last trip I took photos mostly of Mitchell who decided it was all about him and he had me cracking up. If you scroll down in my blog you can see some shots from the first session. Here are my favorites…

Becky & Brian

Becky and Brian are expecting a little girl this summer. I not only shot their wedding and engagemenst this last year but have now had the opprotunity to shoot maternity photos. It has been a true joy working with these two. I am very excited to meet their new little girl and to be able to take photos of her as well. With parents like these two…she is going to be a beautiful little girl! Thanks to both Brian and Becky for giving me this opprotunity! Here are my favorites…
